Wayne is the owner and working director of Arboreal Tree and Rockingham Kwinana Tree Services. He runs a professional tree care business in the Peel and surrounding areas. Established in 1995,Wayne has always had a passion for trees and the environment .
While raising his two young daughters and sitting on the school board, he realised an opportunity to create and install natural playground equipment within the school grounds. This was a win win opportunity to reuse tree logs in a creative way while enhancing children’s growth and also the aesthetics of the school grounds ,while increasing the intake of new students into the school . well it was no surprise that the playground equipment was hugely successful in areas. Word soon got around amongst the school staff and communities and further projects were delivered with similar benefits within numerous school grounds .
Recently Wayne was at a clients property who rescues cats that have been neglected .She then rebuilds their health and trust, all at her own time and expense to assist them to be rehomed by new and loving owners. This client was preparing to give her whole backyard to be netted off as safe area for the cats that she rescued and rehabilitated .Wayne instantly saw the potential for these cats to have an amazing natural timber/log play area while again enhancing the cats instinctual and sometimes neglected abilities ,and so presented the idea to his client .Again it was no surprise the area was a huge success.
Wayne has an ability of understanding the clients needs with a knack to presenting creative ideas which assists them and their pets to enjoying amazing new spaces .Whether it be a complete yard area or small nook, Wayne can help you with ideas and natural log play equipment to transform the new zone and entertain your fur babies. He traditionally uses local and native hard woods such as Tuart, Iron Bark or Jarrah. These are long lasting with excellent structural properties for construction. I’ve noticed cats just love doing their stretching like yoga poses. Against the natural tree columns while scratching and massaging there claws. They love climbing up vertically while jumping one log structure to another.
“It’s great to see their natural skills being exercised while they’re having so much fun! All we had to do was use the same creative play equipment ideas and just make them smaller to suit the available play area.” says Wayne.
